    On-Highway Applications:
    IPD New Parts, New & Remanufactured Turbochargers, and Turbocharger Components for these applications are warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and material under normal use and service for 2 years with unlimited miles of operation. IPD warranty period extends from the date of installation of the IPD product into the engine, but total warranty period is not to exceed 3 years from the original distributor purchase of IPD products from IPD invoice.

    Off-Highway Applications:
    IPD New Parts, New & Remanufactured Turbochargers, and Turbocharger Components for these applications are warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and material under normal use and service for 1 year or 3,600 hours of operation(whichever shall occur first). IPD warranty period extends from the date of installation of the IPD product into the engine, but total warranty period is not to exceed 2 years from the original distributor purchase of IPD products from IPD invoice.

    All Other Remanufactured Parts
    Warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and material under normal use and service for 1 year, 100K miles, or 3,600 hours of operation (whichever shall occur first). IPD warranty period extends from the date of installation of the IPD product into the engine, but total warranty period is not to exceed 2 years from the original distributor purchase of IPD products from IPD invoice.

    Parts for Natural Gas or Methane Engines
    IPD New Parts for these applications are warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and material under normal use and service for 2 years with unlimited hours of operation, with the exception of valve train, new & remanufactured turbochargers, and turbocharger components, which are warranted for 1 year with unlimited hours of operation. IPD warranty period extends from the date of installation of the IPD product into the engine, but total warranty period is not to exceed 3 years from the original distributor purchase of IPD products from IPD invoice.

Details:

This kit converts 3406E Engines with two piece pistons to a single piece steel piston.

Designed specifically to replace OE number 1807352 (16.6:1 Compression Ratio) pistons. The piston included with our kit has a shorter wrist pin than the factory piston uses. That difference to accommodate the thickness of the high density bronze bushing provided with our piston.

Kit is available with Standard sized ID liners and also 0.001" oversized ID liners. The oversized ID liners are to be used in high horsepower applications where thermal expansion due to increased cylinder temperature is expected. 

There is no warranty offered on this rebuild kit, as it is designed for custom applications.
