Please note that depending on your serial number certain bearing sizes may not be available.
The Serial Number on a newer style Detroit Diesel 8V-71 engine can be
found stamped
on the left side, upper front corner of the cylinder block. The Serial
Number on older 8V-71 engines can be found on the right side, upper
rear corner. An example
of an 8V-71 serial number would be "08VAXXXXXXX."
In order to ensure that the correct parts are selected, Agkits.com
requires a valid engine serial whenever a Detroit Diesel engine kit is
ordered.

(Gasket Set does not include front and rear crankshaft seal. This is because we need to know if your engine is left or right hand rotation. This can be determined from your engine model number. If you need to add the seals to the engine kit please call us and we will be happy to do so.)
