    Engine overhaul kits for heavy-duty on-highway applications supplied by RPP are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal service and operating conditions for a period of two years from the date of installation without limitation on miles or hours of operation.

    Remanufactured clutch and non-engine parts are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal service and operating conditions for a period of six months from the date of installation without limitation on miles or hours of operation.

Details:

These pistons are designed to work on "Late Style" connecting rods as shown in the photo above. The piston pin slides through the rod pin bore and uses retaining clips.

This engine kit is for DDEC III & Early IV, these third generation engines used articulated (2 pcs.) pistons with rifle drilled trunk style connecting rods. These are no bushing in the pin bosses of these pistons. The cylinder kits for these engines include top liner cooled liners.

This engine kit is for Detroit Diesel Series 60 engines with articulated two piece pistons. The engine serial number is stamped on the cylinder block below the manifolds.

The valve cover of a Detroit Diesel Series 60 engine contains an option plate that displays the engine serial number, model number and any optional equipment used on the engine. If this option plate is missing, the engine serial number is stamped on the cylinder block below the manifolds. An example of a Series 60 serial number would be "06RXXXXXXX." In order to ensure that the correct parts are selected, Agkits.com requires a valid engine serial whenever a Detroit Diesel engine kit is ordered.
