This Kit Does Not Contain "Articulated" Pistons. It is designed for use with "Early Style" connecting rods as shown in the photo above. The connecting rods in this engine kit bolt to the piston pin.

If your engine serial number is higher than 06R0408000 this engine kit will not work for you. For serial numbers above this number we offer a  Series 60 New Style Engine Rebuild Kit

Based on your Engine Serial Number, your kit will contain one of the following cylinder kits: 23519637, 23532590, 23532591, 23532557, 23532555, 23532556
The valve cover of a Detroit Diesel Series 60 engine contains an option plate that displays the engine serial number, model number and any optional equipment used on the engine. If this option plate is missing, the engine serial number is stamped on the cylinder block below the manifolds. An example of a Series 60 serial number would be "06RXXXXXXX." In order to ensure that the correct parts are selected, Agkits.com requires a valid engine serial whenever a Detroit Diesel engine kit is ordered.
