IPD warranty period extends from the date of installation of the IPD product into the engine, but total warranty period is not to exceed 3 years from the original distributor purchase of IPD products from IPD invoice.

    Off-Highway Applications:
    IPD New Parts, New & Remanufactured Turbochargers, and Turbocharger Components for these applications are warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and material under normal use and service for 1 year or 3,600 hours of operation(whichever shall occur first). IPD warranty period extends from the date of installation of the IPD product into the engine, but total warranty period is not to exceed 2 years from the original distributor purchase of IPD products from IPD invoice.

    All Other Remanufactured Parts
    Warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and material under normal use and service for 1 year, 100K miles, or 3,600 hours of operation (whichever shall occur first). IPD warranty period extends from the date of installation of the IPD product into the engine, but total warranty period is not to exceed 2 years from the original distributor purchase of IPD products from IPD invoice.

    Parts for Natural Gas or Methane Engines
    IPD New Parts for these applications are warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and material under normal use and service for 2 years with unlimited hours of operation, with the exception of valve train, new & remanufactured turbochargers, and turbocharger components, which are warranted for 1 year with unlimited hours of operation. IPD warranty period extends from the date of installation of the IPD product into the engine, but total warranty period is not to exceed 3 years from the original distributor purchase of IPD products from IPD invoice.

This piston converts C15 ACERT Engines from 18.2:1 down to 16:1 Compression Ratio. This piston can be used by customers looking to convert from a twin turbo setup to a single turbo, as well as those who would like to run twin turbo with a lower compression piston. Our customers are successfully installing this kit in both types of applications. In either situation, use of this piston in an ACERT engine will require custom ECM tuning.
